Alannah Farrell is a visual artist born and raised in the sticks of rural upstate New York. Working predominantly with painting and photography, Alannah seamlessly creates work across mediums that explore the artist's complex relationship to gender, personal narrative and emotionality.
She graduated from Cooper Union in 2010 with a BFA in Fine Arts and has been published in several magazines including The Wild, Quiet Lunch, Posture, Dark Beauty, Creem, Italian Vogue, Madame Figaro, Buffet, Daddy Issues, Volup2, and Beauty Today. In 2015 she completed a painting residency at Rox Gallery and several of her paintings will be in an upcoming show at City Bird gallery. Her work has been shown in NYC and Berlin. She has modeled for many artists including Stephane Coutelle, Sophia Wallace, and Ryan Mcginley.
Recently a friend informed her that her sleepy face and tits are hanging out on a page in Artforum.
